SAFETY AND COMFORT...

A notable addition has been made to the liner flect of Bri- tain's merchant navy by the com- pletion of the R.M.S. "Oxford,” of the Orient Line. This vessel is the fourth of a series of sister ships designed for the Australian route, and representing the very latest practice with regard to safe and comfortable ocean travel. Her predecessors are the "Orama” and "Otrano," built by Vickers- Armstrongs, of Barrow-who also built the "Oxford-and the "Oronsay," constructed by John Brown and Co., of Clydebank. A fifth unit of the same class, the "Orontes," is now on the stocks at the Vickers-Armstrong yard in, Barrow,
