WARNING.

Hong Kong, 30th April, 1928,

Certain people in Hong Kong have been uttering lying and malicious statements regarding the circulation and the quality of the "China Mail" as a Newspaper. We have the names of the aforementioned people together with sufficient unimpeachable and conclusive evidence to prosecute now.

We hereby give warning that if, after this date, these statements continue to be uttered we shall without further notice take what legal action we are entitled to take.

Our reason for not prosecuting on the evidence before us is, having issued this warning, should further statements of such a nature aforementioned be uttered, the matter assumés a more serious and a more damaging aspect.

Clean, healthy business competition is good; business built up on lying and malice is bad and should be stopped.
