held at King's Park on Saturday afternoon in the presence of a large gathering of parents and friends of the studenta, including many ladies,

The boys and girls of the school were divided into two houses known as the Red House and the Blue House. resulted and the winners of the Inter-House Championship trophy was in doubt up to the last event when Blue House eventually won by 108 points to 93. The indivi- dual champion amongst the boys was L. Marshal with 18 points." whilst the girls' championship was won by Miss D. Hamblin who scored 16 points.

At the conclusion Mr. G. Franklin Nightingale, Head- master of the School, addressed the gathering. He said that he, M. Bryson (R): 3. V. Lovkovich (B). was sure they must all agree that the sports meeting had been very successful. Over 120 boys and girls had taken part in the various events, and the success of the meeting was entirely due to Mr. Rowell'a wonderful powers of organisation, and to Mr. Beddow, who would carry on Mr. Rowell's work this year. The speaker took the opportunity of thanking Mr. Rowell for the interest he had taken in the C.B.S., and wished him a happy holiday at Home.
