Considerable interest was cen- tred in the first division cricket match on Saturday between the University and the Kowloon C.C. (last year's champions), in that it had a very important bearing on the championship. The Univer- sity had six consecutive victorica, and a win for them would have practically decided the issue. The K.C.C. decisively put it over the Pokfulam side and are heartily congratulated, especial- ly they were playing away and on a matting wicket. Brace, the Kowloon and Interport "star"," was the hero of the match. He took five wickets for 28 and play- ed a delightful innings of 58.

Despite their defcat, the University, have not been deposed and they are still at the head of the table with 18 points for seven matches. Kowloon C.C. have a lot of leeway to make up, having completed only four matches.
