A Chinese cook employed on board H.M.S. "Stormcloud" which is at present in dock at the Naval Yard, was this morning charged with the theft of a silver watch, the property of R. Parkes, and a silver watch and chain and a fountain pen, the property of H. Furlonger, both members of the crew of the "Stormcloud."
The accused admitted that he stole the things by forcing open the two men's lockers, and sentence of aix weeks' jail on each charge was imposed, the terms to run consecu tively.
