Contrary to first reports. the sinking of a passenger junk off First Clins in the West River with two steam launches by which it was being towed, resulted in the loss of

The total number of passengers on board the junk was two hundred, and the only persons that are fuitely known to be saved are those taken off by the "Wing On."
