"

The coxswain of the motor boat "Leung Wan" was charged at the Marine Court this morning with allowing the boat to be under way without a certificated coxswain or engineer on board.

According to the coxswain, he hand crossed the harbour to pur- chase medicine and left instruc- ❘tions that the boat was not to be

taken out.

Commenting that the Police

should have arrested the man who actually took the motor boat and the coxawain, His Worship (Lt. Comdr, G. F. Hole, R.N.), dismissed the caso.

The master of a carge.junk was charged at the Murine Court with carrying 22 passengers in excess of his certificated number (04 in- stead of 42)

He was fined $15 or two weeks.
