The P. & O. steamer "Karmala" arrived this morning from Yoko hama and Shanghai and reports that an Indian member of the crow fell overboard between Shang- hai and Hong Kong." She brought 88 first-cabin passengers, 30 tone of general cargo and 206 bags' of mail She will have for Marseilles and London to-morrow at noon.

From Los Angeles and Manila, the U.S.S.B. steamer Went Pros- pect" arrived yesterday afternoon with 218 tons of general cargo, 103 tons of sugar, and 20 bags of mail. Messrs. Swayne and Hoyt (local agents will despatch her for Shanghai after loading here.
