May 12-Mr. Andrew Brookes, aged 66 years, & miner with a fractured spine and other injuries, arrived in Sydney to-day from Broken Hill, after having June 27.-J.O.J.L. travelled 700 miles by air and analy 6.-J.,J.L. Tükini other 300 miles by rail. Mr. FROM SYDNEY & MELBOURNE. Brookes, whe is accompanied by Jane 18.-N.Y.K Sister Parker, of the Broken Hill Hospital, made the visit to Sydney for treatment.. On his arrival at the Central Railway Station early Aug. this morning by the southern maji train he was conveyed immediate Sept. 60 ly by the ventral district ambulanceCot. to the Coast Hospital,, where he Nov. now lies resting from the trials of his long journey.
