An attack by robbers, early on Sunday morning of a cargo boat lying on the praya near Lun Fat Street. was reported to the police yesterday.
Three men armed with revol vers were stated to have boarded the boat and driven the occupants to the hold, some of them having had to be aroused from sleep. After ransacking the boat, the robbers left in a sampan lying. alongside. The haul consisted of money, clothing and jewellery to the value of over $200.
The wife of the master later complained of an injury and it was found that she had been wounded by a shot fired when the robbers came on board;
