Great progress has been made at the site for the new Government Jail, at Ngau Shi War, on the malaland, The Hongkong Excavation, Pile Driving & Construction Co., Ltd., with their "Raymond Conereto Pile Driving Equipment," (seen in the middle background) have, put in many of the thousands of piles necessary for the foundations. Some of the piles are reen in rown in the middle of the photo. As described in the "China Mail" when the work commenced, this system of pile driving is much superior to the old hand-driven method, and has much to commend itself..
