Shanghai. March 6. The "N. C. Daily News," in its weekly market report, says. that this week the outstanding feature is the improved bone noticeable as far as piece goods are con- cerned. There was a bigger de- mand and better prices are an- nounced on all hands.

In export lines, there has been. a quiet enquiry, business being, curbed by the high prices asked for by holders of local goods.
