NAVY v. VOLUNTEERS.

Playing on the Hongkong Cricket Club's' ground yesterday, the Hongkong Volunteers, had their decision over the Indians on Monday reversed by the Navy.' But for the very valuable contri. butions by Hollands, More and Mitchell, who were responsible for 92 runs of the total of 22, the side fared very poorly against the bowling of Mercer who was not put on to bowl till late in the innings. His analysis speaks for itself. In eight overs, three of which were maidens, he captured

six wickets for only 18 runs
