SLEEPY SICKNESS.

London, August 23.--Tommy Mechan, the international left half-back of Chelsea F.C. died. from sleepy sickness in St. George's Hospital. Hyde Park Corner, S.W. He became ill at the end of last football season.

"The disease took the usual course," said one of the hospital 'physicians, “and he died within four weeks of his admission."
