SUNDAY'S FIXTURE.
The Gael boats had another fixture on Sunday morning, This was a re-sailed race on account of a previous contest unfinished when the time limit expired Five boats pit out in the morning in a fairly. stiff breeze but the weather was not quite so heavy as on Saturday. The course was by way of Lyemun Buoy, Cust Rock, Quarry Bay and Channel Rock. The first two marks were taken on the starboard hand and the latter two on the port. One reef down was the case at the start but this was shaken out before the boat made Lyemua,

ORPHANS OF THE STORM. CONSIGNEEB of Cargo see hereby informed that all Goods are being landed at their risk faso the Godown of the Hongkong and Kow- loon Wharf and Godown Company, Ltd., at Kowloon, whence and/or from the wharves delivery may be obtained.
Orphans of the Storm at the Coronet is actually gaining in popularity with every further day of its run. The picture has re- ceived a great deal of favourable comment, and is undoubtedly one of those rare productions that people will make a point of advising their friends to see.
The big scenes are handled in the typical Griffith manner, and some splendid work by the Sisters Gish enhances the spell of the romatic and exciting story. It is claimed for the film that every little detail of dress and, accoutre- ment is historically accurate, giv ing a vivid idea of the customs about the time of the fall of the French Monarchy.
