No threats have been made against Italian citizens, hence the population was surprised to see four Italian dreadnoughts, and seven destroyers reappear from behind the Island of Vido and anchor before the town. The cause of their reappearance is not known.

The League of Nations Assembly adopted resolutions submitted by the Opium Committee, including a resolution urging countries which have not yet ratified the Opium Convention of 1912 to do so soon and apply its provisions.
