George Hearst, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Randolph Hearst has determined to learn journalism "from the ground up" and has secured a position with the San Francisco Examiner. He will make his home in the California city with his bride, who was Miss Blanche L, Wilbur daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. K. Wilbur, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, one of that State's most eminent families. Recently the son of the noted publisher and his bride were guests for several weeks at the home of his parents, in New York.

Robert Edwards, son of Dániel Edwards, a former member of the Connecticut State Assembly, has cluded efforts of a posse of fariners, led by State police and deputy sheriffs, to capture him, after the brutal murder of his young wife, Ruby Wells Edwards, 19. The tragedy in Poverty Woods, followed an estrangement of several weeks. Edwards came upon his wife, bride of a year, walking with friends along the road, asked her to return hoine with him and, when she refused, chat her twice with a rifle he had, hidden under his coat.
