Mane. Ada Boduri, an Eaglish nurse who married a Belgian, was a lifelong friend of Nurse .Edith Cavell and was tried with the latter in Brussels by the Ger- mans for aiding in the escape of wounded Allied soldiers. Nurse Cavell was executed, and Mme. Bodart for a long while was believed to have suffered the same fate. After the armistice it was learned she had been sentenced to years, imprie- onment, and she was freed by the Germans when war prisoners were released.
