POLICE TOURNAMENT ON SATURDAY NIGHT.

The Hongkong Police held their first boring tournament on Saturday night at the Volunteer Headquarters. Most of the competitors had, it was obvious, & good deal to learn about the business but what they lacked in the way of a punch they made up for in pluck and gateness. The audience, at all events, appeared thoroughly to enjoy itself and the generous applause banded out to each of the vanquished must have gone far towards taking the sting out of drieal.
