It was ascertained today that the sentence of the general court martial which assembled at Victoria Barracks last week to investigate charges brought against Lieut. A. E. Thomp- 100 of the Wilts Regiment was a reprimand in respect of the charge which accused him of having made

false entry.

Three of the charges alleged that during February, April and May, Lieut. Thompson, being concerned with the care of regimental money, fraudulently misapplied to his own urse sums of money amounting to $127 10. Alternatively he was charg ed with reglect to the prejudice of good order and military discipline. Hewas also charged with disobedience of the lawful command of a superior officer in that he failed to back the money he received weekly when ordered to do so by Major Timmis
