During a Bolshevik cavalry raid on Salkado Mr. Kilpatrick a repre- sentative of the American Red Cross and two nurses were brutally killed. General Wrangel's troops carried out a retreat behind fortified lines in splendid ́order, taking a body of previously captured Red.
