BERLIN, March 28. News from Ruhr continues disquieting. It is reported that the Government has sent an ultimatum to the worker's army allowing three days in which fully to observe the truce, otherwise most drastic steps will be taken.
A telegram from Muenster says Commander Reichswehr of Ruhr has visited Wesel and reports that the workers suffered heavily in men and
material and no longer fear a resumption of the bombardment.

Latest British telegrams from Berlin state the situation in Germany is returning to normal" It appears that the food shortage damped the enthusiasm of the Reds. Fights are still reported, but the accuracy of re-- ports is often doubtful. The position in the Ruhr Valley is much quieter.

LONDON, March St. The revenue of the past quarter is £6444 million, an increase of £253,500,000 compared with the corresponding quarter of 1919. The revenue. fiscal year ended to day at £1,339,500,000, an; of increase £450,000,000 compared with 1919-19.
All sources show" increases except landvalues and Crown lands which |show trifling deficits. The biggest items aret Income Tax £339,000,000, Excess Profits, £290,000,000 and miscellaneous £280,000,000. The latter

Official quarters declare that it is confirmed that German regulars have entered the Ruhr district without permission of the Allies and assert that the action is totally unwarranted. The aimber of troops concerned is estimated to be 8,000 or 10,000.
