MISSION TO RUSSIA.
PARIS, March 14.
The third meeting of the Council of the League of Nations has been held. It adopted a resolution to provide the appointment of a commission of ten members chosen by the council, each of whom shall be assisted by two advisers. Two of these members, one an employer of labour, the other a workman, will be proposed by the international labour bureau. The resolution adds that the international bureau may, if it be thought desir able, send a commission to Russia specially to investigate the labour ques tion. A telegram will be sent to the Soviet authcities of Russia informing them of the Council's proposals, and asking if they are prepared to give the commission all necessary facilities to accomplish its mission.
