BOXING,

The competitors in the Boxing contests to be held next Saturday week are now getting down to bard solid training and the Victoria Recreation Club was the scene of half a dozen men going at it full swing last night. The most pro minent man at work was Seaman Eddy Walters, of H.M.S. "Hawkins," - who is to meet Sky Kerrison, and judging from present appearances there should be some exciting round. Walters put in over two hours' hard work, including sparring, skipping, abadow fighting, ball punching etc, and he disclosed that he has got plenty of stamina. Ocher men at work were Seaman Evans, (H.M.S. "Hawkins") and Private Wilka (Marinės).

It is noteworthy that Walters knocked out Paddy Ahearn in a welterweight contest, in London, In eight rounds.

We are asked to announce that Seaman Walters challenges Seaman Parsons, of HMS. "Ambrose or Stoker Lack of H.M.S." Alacrity," to fight any number of rounds for any side stake."
