The tide-table given below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office in Londor from the rest of the analysis of observations tater by means of an automatic tide-recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Tsim Sha Tsui
1887-8-9. during the year 198

zero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty Chest, which has been found to be 4 feet
inches below mean sea level.

To obtain the depth of water on the tide gange at the Victoria Naval Yard srid 3 feet & taches, and on the gauge st. Lament Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet inches to the height given in the table.
