HONGKONG'S GENEROUS RESPONSE.

This year, ar last, throughout the British Empire, an appeal is being made to-day by street and other collections towards the support of the Red Cross Society and the Order of St. John ef Jerusalen-those great organisations which are engaged in the noble work of relieving the infering of our soldiers. and stars, from home and overseas, at it year, the various seats of war.
