BOARD OF TRADE ARKANGEMENTS.

The Fard of Trada has insteel the following announcement --

The Employment Department of Trade is prepared to reive from eraplayers inquiries and parsals with regard ty the employment ad civilian prisoners of war, and to make the necessary arrange ment with the anthorities concerned. Inquiries should be metressed to the Assistant Secretary, Board of Tende Employment Department, Queen Anne's Chambers, Broadway, Westminster, S..

Civilian prisoners of war may be played upon work which is not con- nected with the war in the following ways. They inny, in suitable cases, bu permitted to perform within existing internment emps such work. upi Aterials supplied by employers, as dees not require elaborate plant or equip. mentor a number of prisoners may specially interned in suitable premises where they can live and work upon sonie process of manufacture, if the employer in willing to install the necessary plant and to provide the pchnical supervision required. Proposals to employ less than hundred men under an arrangement of the latter kind cannot, as a rule, be entertained, owing to the cost of guard ing the prisoners. It m
