ITALIANS DEFEAT A HUNGARIAN BATTALION.
LONDON, June 20, The Italinus, any a telegram frath Udine, are jubilant at the annihilation of an Hungarian battalion at Moateneto, as the berojam of the Hungarinas has bien a tradition in Italy since 1948. The Italians continue to deal quclly with the Austriau counter, attacks in Carnis. The battle for the heights at the Isonzo, commanding Piava, was a greds.success. The Italiane crossed the river by pontocen at dawn, attacking with the bayonas, despite the fre from the enemy's beary guns and machine-guns. The enemy's strongest extrenchments were carried and on the heights the Italians defeated repeated counter-attacks.
