SORE THROATS:

Their Cure and Prevention.

Sore throat is so much in the air just now that everyone will be interested to learn how we catch this complaint, and the best way of curing and preventing it.

The germs which cause sore throat are literally "in the air," floating shout on particles of scot, dust, etc. We casuot help inhaling these, and it is, therefore, quite accurate to speak of "catching" sore throat.

When we are in good health we may inhale millions of these germs without taking harm. But if we are ever so slightly run down, the germs of sore throat will grow and multiply in the mouth cavity, indaming and swelling the delicate membranes.
