&ansions to obtain a tennis court within reasonable limits of the City, and through the efforts of Captain Brown and Mr T. Fuller the Imperial Club, Eowloon, was approached early last year, and by mutual agreement the Imperial Club with its members and its liabilities were taken over in March 1909, and its name altered to the T.MCA. The Imperial Club had only twenty members on its hooks when taken 916 ever. The members of the Y.M.C.A. took up the matter oarnestly and on Apri 1 forty-fire names were added. Our average membership for the year has been 60, ladies and gentlemen, and so far it has been a great success.
