There was a large congregation at St. „John's Cathedral on Tuesday afternoon,

when Mit Denman Fuller, F.R.C., con- tinued his series of organ recitals. Tho programme was well chosen in point of variety and embrased compositions which aro acknowledged to conform to the co quirements of the highest and best musical standards. Wely'a Pastorala was synipa- thetically treated, whils of the miniüg numbers given by Mfr Denman Fuller the tro-short pieces by MacDowell, providing an effective contrast in homes, wore quite the best.. England's leading present-day composer, Sir, Edward Elgir, was repre sonted by his well-known Imperial March. Mr Denman Faller had the assistance of Jirs Balition as vocalist, and her contribu- tions to the programme were greatly on- joyed.
