Hongkong Tides
$3
The tide table given below has been compiled at the Nautical Almanzo Office
in London from the resuls of the analysts of abservations taken by means of an sa- tomatic tido-tobording machine in the Wa- ter Police Basin at Tsim Sha Tani during the years 1887-8-9.
The zero of the table corresponde with the zero of the soundings in the Admiralty- Charts which has been found. so ba 4 feet
3 inches below mean sea level,
To obtain the depth of water on the tido gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard add 8
fent 4 trahes, and on the gangs at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 6 inches to the height given in the table.
