A Significant Expedition.
The "Chins Critfe" learns that a party of Rusinos left Russia early Inst Spring in sevemi detachments for this purpose of exploring in Mongolis. Ench detachmout consisted of aver sen army officera and prívates, with whom are 24 Chinese poeties, and over thirty horses, all under the com mand of a major or a captain. To the detachment is attached big drags carrying clothing and food sufficient to last wo months. A number of tents, photographie and surveying apparatus, and other deces- sary implements are also curriod. The first detachment of the party which started from Tsitsibar has reached the Umi river, the second detachinent entered the interior of Mongolia from Harbin, and has not been heard of sluse; while the third detachment, which started from China, has already crossed the Central Desert.
