COMPETITION FOR THE BLAKE SHIELD). The annual competition for the above shiold took place at King'e Park rango on Saturday last. The shield is a trophy pre- sented to the corps by Sir Henry Blake to be annually competed for by tamms of ritlo shots from each Half Company. The con patition this year was very successful, no fess then live teams coming to the firing point. Once again the shield has returned to the Left Half No. 1 Company (Capt.- Lammert) this time by the substantial mar- of 71 points over the second torn.

Their more on this occasion makes a record for tho competition, and were it not for. from the Cement Works Paraly enscon at 000 yde. ing the targets during the their score would probably have been even bytter. The same may be sait of Gunner Colas' fine score of 99. Gunner Colos and extremely hard luck in not reaching three igures, but the hazy state of the targets at 600 yds, made good shooting almost impos- sible. Following are the scores :---

SUFFERED YEARS

WITH ECZEMA

Caused a loss of over £300 in Wages In Ten Years-Limb Raw as a Piece of Beef-Scalp also Affected Doctors and Hospitals did no Good,

A TRIPLE CURE BY THE

CUTICURA REMEDIES

"My eczema has been ten years' stand- ing and it has coat mo over £300 in loss of wages. I am a carpenter and joiner by trade. I have been under doctors, and I also attended the skin hospital, but none of them did me any good.

T When I was at Horley I puréliased some of the Cuticura Remedies, and I was working about all the day, not giv ing my leg a chance, but after

purchas ing 12 sets of the Cuticura Remedies they cured the eczema in my limb. I also had spots on the scalp, but they are I have had these sore all gone now. pimples 50 years. My scalp is now all clean. My ecran was on the right limb from the ankle upwards, which was as raw na pleco of beef. I shall recom mend tho Cuticura Remedies to all I see niieted with eczema. Publish this statement for all the world, and let any une write to me and I will reply.

"I also purchased three vials of Cuti- eura Pills for my wife and they have done her a lot of good. Before taking them she dared hardly to eat anything on account of the pain afterwards; now cho can eat anything and plenty of it. She is getting quite fat now and is quite, a different woman. I was first mlvised to try the Cuticure Remedies from a man who lives at Redhill whose father was cured of a bad eczema on the head. No doctors nor hospitals could cure it. After a few applications the whole crust of the head came off and left him a healthy scalp. This man's age was over seventy years. Although I am cured of cazems I shall always have some by me, and use the Cuticura Pills now and then, for I find the Filla Iceep my head very clear and my appetite good.
