KOUTH AFRICANS, NEW ZEALANDERS. The following table will show at a glance how the South Africans and New Zealandora have fired against Hong tewys which have wot both. It will be seen that in the fourteen match given, each won thirteen! and lost one, New Zealand being beaten by Wales by three points to nil, and South Africa being beaten by Scotland by six to nil. South Africa had a very narrow win against Glamorgan and had twelve points scored Binst thom by Ireland, whereas the New Zealanders Iront Glamorgan by nine to nil and Ireland, fifteen to nil. Middlesex were beaten by New Zealand by 34 to nil, while the South Africans could do no better than nine to nil. It is exceedingly difficult to compare the two teams, but after the tour is completed it will, more likely than not, be found that the Now Zealanders' record is the better of
the two.
