MEETING of the CHINA-BORNEO COMPANY, LIMITED, will be held at the REGISTERED OFFICES of the Company, 4. Queen's Buildings, Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, on WEDNESDAY, the 14th day of JANUARY, 1903, at 12 Noox, for the purpose of confirming the following Resolution passed at the Extra- ordinary General Meeting of the Company held this day (29th December, 1902).

Of course, thero wore no Guilders and people con- tinued to pay us in dollars and some do so up to this present day, but always at the current rate of exchange, f. i, a man owes

A QUESTION OF CUSTOM.

For the plaintiff Co., Mr Hastings (Messrs Deacon and Hastings) appeared; and Mr G. C. C. Master (Mesars Johnson, Stokes, and Master) upheld the defence
