The Tide Table given holow has been compiled by the Nautical Almanac Offices in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an au- tomatic tide-recording machine in the Wa- ter Puso Basin at Tsim Sha Tsui during the years 1887-8-9.
The zero of the table is Low Water Or dinary Spring Tiles, which has been found! to ho 2 feet below mean sea level.
To cbtain the depth of water on the tile gauge at the Victoris Naval Yard sad 5 ft. in, and on the gauge at Lamont Dody, Aberdeen, add 12 4, 4 in, in the bright given in the table.
