The lebentures are issue at par, but agy application containing an offer of a pre- ainm will receive consideration at the heuds of the Directors, but this shall not effect the right of the Directura to accept any tandar they may see it. No tenders will be accepted below par.
The Debentures will be inmed bouring a face value of $250 each made payable to bearer and carrying interest from the Int day of October 18001 at the rate of 5 por centum per arnum, payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of Oc- tober at the Office of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, Hongkong, or its branches, at the current rate of Ex- change upon presentation of the Coupons attached to the debouture. The tere of subscription for each debonture are fol lows:-25 per cent on application and the balance on 1st day of October 1891.
Where no allotment is made the actual amount paid will be returned in full with. out any deduction but without any interest, and where the number of debentures allotted
is less than the number applied for themr plus will be credited in reduction of the amount payable on aliotmous and any occas returned. Failure pay any instalment when due will render the alictent liable to cancellation and previous payments te forfeitura.
The debantores shall be redeemable at par in the amounts and at the thae follow ing, i
