Tuendjourned enquiry concerning the death of the Quiness barber who was found denti un the shore at British Kowloon on the 17th inst., was reamed at the Magis- trney this afternoon before the Corner and the same jury us before.

Inspector Thomson, who has charge of the case, atated that he had not been able to obtain any fresh evidence. Dr. Mar quos, Assistant Superintendent of the Go. vernment Civil Hospital stated that, in his opinion, the two wounds on the head of the docensed men were not sufficians to have caused his death; he belived that he had died from strangulation. He did not be lieve that the wounds were self inflicted; it would have been very difficult to no inflict

the one on the back of the head.
