THE CHINA MAIL
2. The following chanot be, transmitted : Parcels insufficiently packed or protocted, or liable to be crushed (as bandboxes, o.) Opium, Glass, Liquids, Explosivo sub stancos, Matches, Indigo, Dyestuffs, Ion, Most, Fish, Game, Fruit, Vegetables, or whatever is dangerous to the Mails, or Likely to become offensive or injurious in | transit.
3. Parcale are as a general rule forwarded by Private Ship, not by Contract Mail Packet. To India they are forwarded by the P. & O, and Indian Mail Packets only, to Ceylon by P. & O. only. No respon sibility is accepted with regard to any parool, unless Registered, and then only to the amount of 81ŭ.
4. The public are cautioned not to con- found those fasilition with a l'arcel Port to Europe, &o., which does not exist.
