Commander William Henry Symous, B.N., secretary of the Shipwrecked Mariners Socisty, died at Camberwell, on the 7th inst., in his fifty-ninth year. The deceased officer entered the navy in November, 1832, and served as mate of the Blenheim, 72, Captain Sir Humphrey Fleming Benhouse, at the capture of the Bogue Forts and as aeting lieutenant of the Blonde, 42, Captain Thomas Bourahter, in the attack upon Canton.
