MEDICAL TREATMENT :—

Free X-ray examination and treatment are available to all officers, their wives and their children. "Children” means sons who have not attained the age of 16, and unmarried daughters who have not attained the age of 21, years,

Free medical treatment and maintenance are available to members of the Medical Department other than the Clerical Staff, to Calets on probation, and to l'olice Probationers, whilst patients in a Government hospital.

All other officers, their wives, and their children, whilst patients in a Government hospital, are entitled to free treatment but are charged for maintenance in accordance with the following scale:
