Imports totalled $330,000 as compared with $1.1 millions, and exports $809,000 as compared with $873,000.
TOBACCO.,
Imports totalled $8.1 millions as compared with $8.2 millions, and exports $8.7 millions as compared with $7.4 millions.
Imports of Cigarettes increased from 1,066,000 lbs. ($2.3 millions) to 1,129,000 lbs. ($3.1 millions). Imports from the United Kingdom increased from 461,000 lbs. ($1.4 millions) to 547,000 lbs. ($2.0 millions).
Imports of Foreign Prepared Tobacco decreased in volume from 69,000 lbs. to 52,000 lbs., but in creased in value from $157,000 to $168,000,
Imports of Raw: Tobacco decreased from 14.2 million lbs. ($5.2 millions) to 11.8 million lbs. ($4.2 millions).
