Imports totalled $6.2 millions as compared with $6.6 millions, and exports $5.9 millions as compared with $8.0 millions.

Imports of Bicycles and Tricycles increased from $1-18,000 to $738,000.

Imports of Motor Cars increased from 490 ears ($1.2 millions) to 690 cars ($1.8 millions). Imports from the United Kingdom increased from 177 cars ($396,000) to 275 cars ($685,000). Imports from Canada increased from 118 cars ($293,000) to 204 cars ($555,000).

Imports of Motor Lorrics (Chassis) increased from 373 chassis ($682,000) to 656 chassis ($1.4 millions). Imports from U.S.A. increased from 238 chassis to 566 chassis.

Imports of Motor Accessories increased froin $602,000 to $883,000.

WEARING APPAREL

Imports totalled $4.4 millions as compared with $4.1 millions, and exports $19.7 millions as compared with $12.6 millions.

Exports of Boots and Shoes (Rubber and Canvas) increased from $4.1 millions to $5.5 millions, mainly to the United Kingdom and British West Indies. Imports from Japan declined from $710,000 to $372,000.

Imports of Hats and Caps (Foreign) increased from $135,000 to $152,000. There were increased in. ports from the United Kingdom, Italy and U.S.A.

Exports of Hosiery (other than Silk) increased from $730,000 to $1.4 millions. The chief markets were the United Kingdom, British West Indies, South America and Egypt.

Exports of Shirts increased from $1.0 million to $2.4 millions.

Exports of Singicts increased from $3.4 millions to $4.2 millions.

SUNDRIES

Imports of some 167 items of Sundries totalled $77.8 millions as compared with $57.6 millions, and exports $80.7 millions as compared with $51.9 millions.

Imports of Gunny Bags decreased from 9.5 million bags ($2.8 millions) to 5.9 million bags ($1.9 millions).

Imports of Cosmetics and Perfumery increased from $803,000 to $1.0 million.

Exports of Electric Torches (Flashlight) increased from $2.9 millions to $3.7 millions, the chief markets being India, Burma, British Malaya and the Netherlands East Indies.
