RAILWAY MATERIALS

Imports totalled $1.1 millions as compared with $84,000, and exports $873,000 as compared with $1.2 millions.

TOBACCO

Imports totalled $8.2 millions as compared with $5.9 millions, and exports $7.4 millions as compared with $4.3 millions.

Imports of Cigarettes decreased from 1.9 million lbs. ($2.8 millions) to 1.1 million lbs. ($2.3 millions). Imports from North China decreased from 1.4 million lbs. to 477,000 lbs.

Imports of Foreign Prepared Tobacco increased from 30,000 lbs. ($90,0001 to 69,000 lbs. ($157,000). Imports of Raw Tobacco increased from 6.6 million lbs. ($2.3 millions) to 14.2 million lbs. ($5.2 millions).
