(C) Marconi 6 K.W. Short wave transmitter using Pure D.C. note. Wavelength

8650.519 kc/s (34.68 metres.)

(D) 1 K.W. short wave transmitter using Self rectified 300 cycle supply. Wavelength

13636.363 kefa (22 metres).

(E) 250 watt short wave transmitter C.W. using H.T. generator for D.C. supply.

Wavelength 10638.297 kefs (28.2 metres).

(F)) Two new short wave transmitters working on either C.W. I.C.W. or Telephony: (G) † Wavelengths, call signs not yet allocated. Transmitters at present under test,

(1) With (A) the station provides a broadcasting service daily consisting of musical items

and weather reports.

During the typhoon season warnings are broadcasted hourly.

(2) The studio for the broadcasting is situated in General Post Building in the City of

Victoria.

(3) Stations (B), (C), (D), (E), (F) and (G) are used for fixed point working on com-

mercial services.

(4) The transmitters are all located at Victoria Peak Station and are remotely controlled by the Radio Telegraph Office for commercial services and by the Royal Observatory Wireless Station for meteorological services.

(5) The receivers for the various services are situated in the Royal Observatory Wireless Station Kowloon and the Radio Telegraph Office Des Vœux Road Victoria, a systein of tone channels connecting the two.
