The Accounts of the Colonial Government wera formerly kept in Sterling, bat from the 1st July, 1862, they have been kept in Dollura, in accordance with instrnetious from Hor Majesty's Secretary of State for
the Colonies.
The Accounts of tho merequtila establishments are and bave been always kept in Dollars.
