REMARKS.
(1) On the 1st June, 1895, the Fire Brigade was made a Sub-Department of the Folice. Mr. Wodehouse handed over the duties of Superintendent on that date to Cominander W. C. H. Hastings, R.N., Acting Captain Superintendent of l'olice, who received a monthly allowance of $50 from lapsing funds.

(3) See note (1) above. Duties of Clerk performed by 3rd Police Clerk from the 1st June on an allowance of $10 a month.
