Piers and Wharves outside of the City of Victoria will be subject to payments calculated at one half the above scale.
In all cases whero permission is given by the Surveyor General to erect a pier over Crown Foreshore, and such pier is removed on or before the expiration of one calendar month from the date of granting such permission, the encroachment shall not be sub. ject to Crown Rent.
INTEREST.
On fixed Deposits in Local Banks at 5 per cent. per annum, ns also the Interest allowed by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation on Current Deposit Accounts, at the rate of 2 per cent, per annum on the daily balance to credit of Government.
