In the City of Victoria.
For encroachments of 10,000 square feet or less $180
For encroachments exceeding 10,000 square feet, but not exceeding 20,000 square feet $216
For encroachments exceeding 20,000 square feet, but not exceeding 30,000 square feet $240
For encroachments exceeding 30,000 square feet, but not exceeding 50,000 square feet $300

Ordinance 25 of 1891, Section 12, Sub-section 3.
Piers and Wharves outside of the City of Victoria will be subject to payments calculated at one half the above scale.
In all cases where permission is given by the Surveyor General to erect a pier over Crown Foreshore, and such pier is removed on or before the expiration of one calendar month from the date of granting such permission, the encroachment shall not be subject to Crown Rent.

INTEREST

On fixed Deposits in Local Banks at 5 per cent. per annum, as also the Interest allowed by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation on Current Deposit Accounts, at the rate of 2 per cent. per annum on the daily balance to credit of Government.
